Job Description

The store manager will spend the bulk of their time managing day to day in store operations, overseeing part time employees, assisting customers in the store, building the customer experience and community engagement. For many customers, the store manager will be the “face” of the store. The store manager is paid a base salary and a sliding scale commission based on sales performance. In coordination with the owner(s), they will spend 5-10 hours/wk in the community distributing magazines/marketing flyers, sampling products in gyms, conducting nutrition seminars, etc., all designed to increase traffic, sales and brand awareness. Primary overall responsibilities include:
A. Growing the business
B. opening/closing and keeping the store clean, orderly, and appealing
C. employee management (schedules, training, etc)
D. improving the customer experience
E. engaging local businesses to create and maintain partnerships
F. managing online social networking presence
G. training part-time employees
H. purchasing product and managing inventory
I. Opening/Closing and keeping the store clean and orderly

Job Requirements

Applicants do not need an advanced or college degree, but prior management, retail and health & wellness knowledge is a plus.
