Description:
The qualified individual will be the logistics functional lead and chief logistician for a team providing multi-disciplinary support to a government system acquisition program management office and will serve as a senior advisor to government personnel. Duties will include planning, executing and controlling system acquisition program logistics for multiple equipment systems, providing direct logistics support as required, and serving as the principle quality control lead for logistics. Will work with senior government personnel on a regular basis, and will frequently be called on to provide briefings and lead large meetings.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Must Possess An Active Secret Clearance.
* Acquisition Professional with 2-3 tours in acquisition billets
* Participated in development, coordination, and execution of a major program milestone
* Experience as an Integrated Product Team lead or equivalent
* Clear understanding of the OSD acquisition organization
* Program Management Certified (DAWIA Level III in Logistics)
* At least 10 years related acquisition logistics experience required, at least 5 of which will have been in a leadership position.
* Functional expert in defense system acquisition, life cycle logistics and operational logistics management
* Bachelor's Degree.
* Excellent communications skills, both writing and verbal and extensive experience with defense acquisition management processes as contained in the DoD 5000 series directives required
Additional Qualifications:
* Master's Degree a plus
