Job Description
Overview:
The purpose of this position is to develop scenario injects and the Master Scenario Event List (MSEL). Assistant exercise planner and Master Scenario Event List (MSEL) Manager. Coordinate, synchronize and manage the utilization of the MSEL during exercise execution. Manage and maintain the MSEL using MSEL Management Software Tools.
Responsibilities:
Manage and maintain the MSEL using MSEL Management Software Tools.
Prepare scenario concepts for service specific, Joint, and Combined exercises.
Prepare scenario concepts for Live-Virtual-Constructive (LVC) exercises.
Prepare and conduct scenario briefings.
Develop base and fragmentary operations orders, plans, graphics, and supporting products as needed to support exercise design.
• Perform numerous facets of exercise control:
Serve as the watch officer or watch chief for the higher headquarters response cell.
Assist simulation operators in planning, building, and controlling the constructive units and civilians on the battlefield.
Assist role-players, governmental and non-governmental organization representatives, and joint and coalition military liaison officers’ reception, orientation, and integration into exercises.
Assist in the fusion and synchronization of exercise control cells and response cells to provide realistic synthetic effects to training staff.
Develop and refine scenario concepts using doctrine, emerging concepts, and the tactical lessons integration program.
Develop and refine scenario concepts based on current and future contingency operations which support exercise training objectives.
Assist in providing an overview of the tactical scenario construct to Fires, Intel, Log, OpFor, and Liaison cells for development of supporting products, data repositories and configurations, and systems integration.
Job Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required.
Require a minimum four years USMC ground combat arms operational experience. Prefer an additional minimum three years experience in military training and education including organizing and conducting training and exercises.
Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a Security Clearance.
