Description

You will be used as a Joint Task Force staff member to support training exercise scenarios in a field-training environment to train and prepare both officer and enlisted public affairs practitioners in contingency planning, decision making, and media engagement and analysis. Flat rate for the 12-day event: SME JTF Commander: $4,500. SME JTF Chief of Staff/SME JTF J-1/SME JTF J-3: $4,300; SMF JTF J-4/ SMF JTF J-5/SME JTF J-8/SME JTF J-39/SME IO/PSYOP/SME JTF Combat Engineer: $4,100. Air fare to and from domicile and BWI airport, per diem at the prevailing government rate.

Requirements

Experience as a senior operational staff officer at the division-level or higher and/or U.S. military joint task force experience during a contingency deployment. Preferably retired O-5 or O-6 with a minimum of 3 years experience in the requisite staff function, completion of a Service or Joint War College, or applicable Command and Staff College. Additionally, within the last ten years, you must have participated in a contingency operation anywhere on the operational continuum from humanitarian assistance, peacekeeping, low intensity conflict to high intensity conflict
