Description
SUMMARY: As a member of the COMET Team this position supports the divisions supply functions by providing evaluations, training, assistance and instruction.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Assemble and develop training and lesson plans.
Conduct special research projects related to supply and maintenance issues.
Conduct formal classes, presentations and briefings.
Interact and instruct personnel (operators through commanders) on all faucets of Command Supply Discipline Programs and property accountability.
Edit and compose written correspondence, documents and reports.
Deliver briefings in preparation for or at the completion of evaluations, training or assistance.
Provide resident staff logistics expertise, training and instruction in the following logistics disciplines: CSDP, and LIW.
Participate in the divisions Organizational Inspection Program during the conduct of Command Inspections (CIPs) and Operational Readiness Surveys (ORSs).

Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance.
High degree of technical and management expertise in the Supply Logistics area.
Knowledge and use of web sites such as LOGSA, AEPS, WEBLOG, USAPA, ILAP and other army logistics web sites.
Experience as a Supply NCO and/or WO.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years experience as a Unit Supply Specialists MOS92Y.

Seeing, hearing, speaking, walking, sitting, climbing, repetitive arm and finger motions, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), pushing, pulling and standing.
