Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES:
Conducts maintenance unit assistance visits
Assist unit Logistic STAMIS operation (SAMS-E), TAMMS, validate unit maintenance database and procedures.
Provide data collection and verification as equipment processes through reconstitution/reset with assistance of unit property and supply personnel.
Complies logistic reports from SAM-E, other STAMIS and/or sources.
Review and interpret maintenance data and provide recommendations to unit commander and maintenance personnel
Monitor maintenance functions for quality control, quality assurance, and production control to ensure Army maintenance standards are achieved.
Assist in the reestablishment and maintaining critical maintenance programs such as Test, Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment (TMDE), Army Oil Analysis (AOAP).
Conduct training on maintenance operation and procedures as required.
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid understanding of the Army Maintenance Program (AR 750-1, DA PAM 750-8.
Operational knowledge of SAM-E.
Understanding of the Army Supply operations to support maintenance operations.
Must be able to obtain and retain a Secret Clearance.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 12-15 years military expertise in a maintenance related MOS.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Researching and verifying information
Proficient in the use of the MS Office software suite.
Possess the ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to use Army STAMIS to research and prepare documents.
Knowledge of Army structure, commands, units, and components

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
Travel required up to 20% of the time
Be able to stand for prolonged periods in either an out door or office environment.
Be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
