Description
Subject Matter Expert and Principle Technical Trainer in support of the 3rd Infantry Division. Writes lesson plans and procedural documentation essential to logistical operations. Senior noncommissioned or warrant officer with abilities to research and interpret regulations while working independently.

The maintenance analyst is responsible for understanding the Army Maintenance system (SAMS-E) and familiar with the Army maintenance process. He researches, analyzes and applies army and local command policy to maintenance operations. He conducts unit assistance visits to provide subject matter expertise and advise in Motor Pool Operations, Drivers training, TMDE, AOAP, Safety of use messages and Maintenance Advisory messages.
Requirements
Individual must have an extensive knowledge of the Standard Army Maintenance System- Enhanced (SAMS-E) as it pertains to Army Status System Reporting, daily operations from End User to Maintenance Manager, as well as functions of shop operation; i.e. maintenance publications, test measurement, diagnostic equipment, army oil analysis, preventive maintenance checks and services, and tool room management.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Solid understanding of the Army Maintenance Program (AR 750-1, DA PAM 750-8.)
Operational knowledge of SAMS-E.
Understanding of the Army Supply operations to support maintenance operations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: 12-15 years military expertise in a maintenance related MOS.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Researching and verifying information
Proficient in the use of the MS Office software suite.
Possess the ability to effectively communicate with others
Ability to use Army STAMIS to research and prepare documents.
Knowledge of Army structure, commands, units, and components.

A Secret Clearance is required. Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
