Description

Act as a Maintenance Program Manager and analyst in support of the sustainment level maintenance programs. Develop, recommend, and implement sustainment level maintenance actions. Knowledge of the Standard Army Maintenance System (SAMS), Logistic Information Warehouse (LIW), Standard Army Maintenance System-Enhanced, and the Army retail supply system. Personnel would be required to manage maintenance activities/operation, personnel, and coordinate with tactical user and management.

Requirements

Knowledge of current DoD and US Army logistic concepts, organizations and procedures. Coordinates planning and production of support activities. Experience in managing multiple complex projects and tasks at diverse locations. Demonstrated skills in project and personnel management, organization goal seeking, and contracts.

Knowledge of acquisition procedures and principles of proposal development and preparation. Should be familiar with FAR and DFAR.

Requires in-depth knowledge of the SAMS, (to include SAMS-2), and maintenance regulations, policies, and procedures. Experience should include management of General Support and Sustainment maintenance missions: component rebuilt, Reset and Reconstitution Programs, Fleet management, etc.
